Rivercats vs Parents game

We showed up at the park Saturday morning expecting to play another machine pitch team but the other team did not show. So they decided to play the parents. What a blast! Both Michaela and Jeff played...Jeff slid head first into bases, smacked the ball and caught for his team....Check out the picture of Michaela jumping over the first baseman so she wouldn't squash him!

Our Fairy Godmother aka Fairy Godmonkey!

Friday night we attended the "Cool School Players" production of Cinderella. Their adaption of the play was very cute. Michaela was one of the 3 Godmother examiners who were watching over the Godmother in training who was helping Cinderella. It was one of the best plays the kids have ever put on. Everyone could not get over how cute Michaela looked dressed up...even her Papa didn't recognizer her up on stage!

Madie helped with the production of the play and designed the program. She was called on stage before the play to receive and award for her help and our Principal thanked her for all of her help at school everyday.

A very busy Saturday for Kelly

What a busy day! We started off the day by stopping at Walmart to pick up some items we needed for the day and then we were off to our first stop. From 12-3pm Kelly had his end of the year Cub Scout party and ceremony. The whole family went and watched Kelly get his awards and then afterwards the kids went swimming, enjoyed a large bouncy waterside and hot dogs and snow cones from a concession stand. We left a little early to drop Jeff and the girls off at home and get Kelly to his next event.
From 3-5:30 Kelly attended a going away bowling party for one of his friends. He and his family are moving to North Carolina. Then it was on to his last stop.

Jeff and Kelly packed up a tent, sleeping bags and a few snacks and were off to watch the baseball game at 7pm...FSU vs NC. The Boy Scouts had been invited to come watch the game and then set up tents around the field and spend the night. They got to watch "Everyone's Hero" on the jumbo tron. I think the highlight of their evening was when Buster Posey (ACC Player of the Year!) walked by their tent on his way out of the park and said hi.
