A day at the farm.

My brother-Justin, his wife-Amy, and my nephew-John Michael came for a visit from Pennsylvania. Jeff and I took Tuesday off from work and we all went out to Nana and Abuelo's "Farm" out in Madison to check it out and do some work.

We walked around the 55 acres and the kids had to check out the guys hunting stands.

Michaela, Kelly and John Michael had fun trying to whittle things with their knives.

Oso and Moose had fun running around the property.

We picked wild blackberries and saw the most gorgeous flowers.

Justin and Jeff had to try out the new tractor and got real dirty.

Abuelo even talked Madie into driving it and bush hogging. She loved it and didn't even mind getting all dirty too.

We enjoyed a picnic lunch together.

We all had a great day!

St. George Island beach

We spent a wonderful Saturday afternoon at St. George Island with our family.

The kids had lots of fun playing in the water, in the sand and relaxing on the beach.

The kids really had fun riding to and from in Uncle Justy and Aunt Amy's Jeep.

4th of July

We celebrated the 4th down at Nana and Abuelo's. Nana made her wonderful BBQ ribs and Andre grilled them. We ate downstairs in the screen room.

Madie didn't want to wear Nana's fancy headband but she got it on her anyways.

We all went down to the beach to watch the fireworks.

JEFF LOVES TO UMPIRE

These are two pictures we pulled off of Tallahassee Democrat Online. The first on Jeff is warning the coach to have his fans settle down and stop making bad remarks about his umpire crew. The second is a call out at 3rd. The boy in yellow had definitely tagged the boy in green before he slip into the base.

All Stars

This was Michaela's last year to play All Stars with North West Leon Little League. The girls lost their first game Monday night (11-1)...they were having a bad day and just couldn't all come together. Tuesday night they played an awesome game that went into the 7th inning and they won 2-1. Wednesday they played their hearts out and tied it in the top of the 6th but Chaires pulled one out in the bottom and won. I am so proud of Michaela...she caught some awesome games...the best I've ever seen her do. YOU GO GIRL!
